Over the last 37 years, Rungta Mines Ltd. has grown into a mining giant & today we stand at the cusp of the new millenium and our company is constantly involved in the endeavour of preparing itself for the challenges to be faced in the 21st century.

Our future strategy is four pronged; first by consolidating our present mining business with a focus on mechanisation and increased production with reduced cost, whereby remaining globally competitive, our thrust area being in export marketing.

Next, we plan to venture into the mining of a wider gamut of industrial minerals having immense market potential, for which we are on the lookout for established partners.

Forward integration will be the buzzword for the next decade. By 2005, we shall venture into steel manufacturing through both sponge iron & pig iron processes and also into ferro alloy manufacturing.

The other point of focus shall be to diversify into other businesses. RML shall remain an environment friendly company and will stand for qualitative growth of its workforce & shareholders' wealth.
